１４日在SXSW音樂節上，一名表演者利用催吐方式吐在Lady Gaga身上，令許多美國民眾譁然，近來因為「Let it go」一曲爆紅的美國女歌手黛咪洛瓦特，雖然是Lady Gaga的粉絲，但看到Gaga這段驚世駭俗嘔吐表演片段後，在推特發文表示Gaga教壞小孩，認為這舉動不酷也非關藝術，並且未考慮厭食症患者感受，但她在文末還是表示自己仍然是Gaga的小怪獸(指Gaga粉絲)。
