鄧麗欣跟方力申拍拖多年，甚至有消息指兩人已秘婚，但無阻鄧麗欣的魅力，有30多歲的癡情漢郵寄萬元利是（紅包）給薛家燕做媒，希望薛家燕介紹鄧麗欣給他認識，受寵若驚的鄧麗欣笑言：「我值1萬元？」

薛家燕日前在「開心家天下馬年春茗派對」自爆有人給她1萬元，希望她做媒人介紹鄧麗欣給他認識。原來她日前在無線信箱收到一個神秘公文袋，封面上寫有「南無阿彌陀佛」字句，裡面竟藏有一封1萬元現金大利是，還附有信件，對方聲稱是鄧麗欣的粉絲，希望薛家燕介紹鄧麗欣給他認識。薛家燕說：「我多謝他這麼信任我，但我不能收錢，我會還給他。」

鄧麗欣得知有癡情粉絲時笑說：「我值1萬元？這是小方告訴我的，笑死我。之前我聽助手形容過有個虔誠佛教徒，經過聯絡他要求想見我，我覺得應該是同一個人，但我從未見過他。（怕不怕？）不怕，只是怕佢騷擾到其他人，其實他又不是很瘋狂或者很變態，都是用平靜方式說想見我。如果他真是支持我，參加歌迷會或者循正途方法出席我的活動。」
