奧斯卡頒獎典禮在台北時間3日上午揭曉，幾家歡喜幾家愁，像是一口氣入圍的10項大獎的犯罪電影《瞞天大佈局》，就全數槓龜，抱蛋而歸也很嘔的，還有獲5項提名的《華爾街之狼》，及以這部片入圍、呼聲很高的李奧納多，都抱憾而歸，就在宣布影帝這一刻，李奧納多實在難掩落寞表情。

李奧納多主演，入圍奧斯卡5項大獎，包括最佳男主角，李奧納多今年得獎呼聲高，卻還是抱憾而歸，宣布影帝這一刻，表情難掩落寞，馬修麥康納獲獎，上台之前，還不忘跟李奧納多擁抱，但仔細看，在公佈後，兩人擁抱的那一瞬間，李奧納多嘴角下沉，面無表情，看起來難掩失落，比較看看在頒獎人珍妮佛勞倫斯公佈入圍名單時，李奧納多看到自己出演的角色，表情還很興奮，得知是馬修得獎，上台致敬，李奧納多也只是抿著雙唇，拍手鼓掌，心中失落可想而知。

因為李奧納多是第三次錯過奧斯卡影帝，網友也很不捨，還在網路上傳說，拜託給他一個獎吧，也有網友KUSO，把李奧納多出演過的哭戲，集結一起，表示失落，抱蛋而歸也很嘔的還有《瞞天大佈局》。

最佳影片、最佳男女主角、最佳男女配角，入圍四大演技獎，總共入圍10項大獎，但全數槓龜，再回頭看這一個擁抱，李奧納多的表情耐人尋味，這一次突破尺度演出，雖然沒得獎，卻也讓李奧納多從影生涯，多了一筆紀錄。
